Pharmacists Quinn and Lauren Czosnowski know their kitchen is down and out. The symptoms? Outdated cabinets, peeling floor tiles and a functional-at-best countertop. Unfortunately, their budget is more over-the-counter than prescription-strength. They want a kitchen like the ones they see in magazines, but have a fraction of the high-end budget. Lucky for them, the Money Hunters, licensed contractor Matt Blashaw and engineer Deanne Bell, are here to increase their DIY dosage and give them the kitchen they long for.

Ryan and Lauren's basement needs a head-to-toe gut job, but improvements to the rest of their home have sapped their savings. Ryan's an electrician and can barter plumbing from a buddy, but in order to beat this basement they'll need the Money Hunters batting cleanup. Licensed contractor Matt Blashaw will bang out the carpentry while engineer Deanne Bell cuts costs.

They dream of a deck four times the size with extravagant amenities like composite decking, natural stone pavers and an outdoor plasma TV - but their 12K budget can't deliver everything on their wish list. It's compromise time for these homeowners. Matt and Deanne will rein in these dreamers and give them a tricked-out deck and patio, Money Hunter-style.
